Juices for the beach and a perfect tan!

Hello girls, welcome back!
We beach lovers know how nice it is to savor a fresh drink while enjoying the heat from the sun, and the ocean breeze. Now, what if beyond just freshening up, you could also boost your energy, and… improve your tan?
Today I’ll be sharing some delicious juice ideas, both easy to make, and perfect for those summer beach days. I'll also tell you a bit more about how these can benefit you in many ways!
1. Interested in the perfect tan? I know what you are thinking ...CARROTS!

And yes, you are right! Carrots are one of the best foods to eat if you are interested in getting the perfect summer glow! It is said, consumption of carrots may help you tan, and this is because of their high concentration of beta-carotene, a natural pigment that gives carrots their orange hue. Now, eating carrots might help you get a natural tan without even needing the sun. Which might be a good idea, if you want to avoid that long, exposure to sun rays.
I know...carrots might not sound as appealing as an exotic fruit when you are craving a sweet and fresh drink. However, there are tons of delicious recipes to change your mind. Here’s a very yummy one I tried that might change your mind:
Ingredients:
9-10 large carrots
7 small gala apples
1 whole pineapple, peeled
1-inch fresh ginger, peeled
juice of 1 lime

2. Want to cool down and bear with the summer heat? Try having WATERMELON juice!

Watermelon has a great cooling effect on the body, and it also helps you stay hydrated because of its high water concentration. It also contains vitamins A, B6, and C, and potassium which plays a key role in regulating water balance in the body. It is also one of the easier juices to make, as this amazing fruit is delightful on its own. Here’s a delicious recipe you can try if you feel like cooling down and need to REFRESH!
Ingredients
- 5 cups watermelon juice (10 cups seedless watermelon chunks blended)
- 1 can frozen limeade

3. Need an energy boost to keep up with the “longer” Summer days? Try a GREEN JUICE!

Although for some people it may not seem as appealing, green juices are high in Chlorophyll, "Chlorophyll, the green pigment in plants, helps oxygenate the blood, creating increased brain function and physical energy," says Judita Wignall, author of Going Raw (Quarry Books). Moreover, these provide a variety of antioxidants, vitamins C and E, and can help you get better skin.
Here are the ingredients you’d have to blend together to give this one a try:
Ingredients:
- 1 large cucumber
- 8 stalks celery
- 1 handful kale
- 1 handful spinach
- 1 handful parsley
- 1/4 lemon (with rind if organic)
- 1-inch piece ginger

Try adding some pineapple chunks if you want to sweeten it up a bit! Pineapple will also provide you with some immune system support, and it has some anti-inflammatory benefits.
